Green Light Pitch Showcase

This showcase, run by the team at the Deep Green Biotech Hub, marked the exciting culmination of 12 weeks of hard work by four Green Life teams, each focused on creating sustainable solutions using algae-based technologies. The event showcased the incredible potential of algae, from combating climate change to providing food, pharmaceuticals, and even new materials. Participants of the Green Life Accelerator program received seed funding, mentorship from science and business experts, and access to a supportive community. Throughout the program, teams refined their business models, tested ideas, and explored various applications of algae, including reducing carbon in concrete and advancing biofuels. The night highlighted the impressive progress made by the teams, with some already ready to go to market. It was a celebration of innovation, collaboration, and the promise of algae as a sustainable solution for various industries, with the Green Life Program offering the resources and mentorship needed to turn ideas into real-world products.
